Migration of Callsign of Brunei

MIGRATION OF AMATEUR RADIO CALLSIGNS V88 TO V85 AND OPENING OF TWO-CHARACTER CALLSIGNS

The Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI), a statutory body which licenses, regulates and develops Brunei Darussalam’s telecommunications industry. From March 2007, the E-government Technical Authority Body (EGTAB) was formed under AITI to function as the e-Government think tank.

AITI would like to inform that:
  1. All existing advanced amateur radio callsigns, V88, will be replaced with new Callsigns, V85. Example: V88ZZZ to V85ZZZ, where ZZZ is any combination character from AAA to ZZZ.
  2. Two-character callsigns are now opened for both advanced and standard licenced holders. Terms and conditions apply.
